Built for volume and quality With a print speed of up to 280 cards per hour for single-sided color printing and 170 cards per hour double-sided, the Primacy 2 handles everything from small daily runs to large batch printing without slowing your operation down. The 100 or 200-card feeder means less refilling and more uptime. Print resolution goes up to 300×1200 dpi in monochrome — sharp enough for barcodes, fine text, and portrait photos.

Single and double-sided printing The Primacy 2 prints edge-to-edge on both sides of the card in a single pass, using color sublimation for vivid full-color results and resin thermal transfer for crisp monochrome text and barcodes. A color profile system ensures consistent, accurate colors across every batch.

Security features built in From basic photo ID cards to high-security access credentials, the Primacy 2 scales to your requirements. Encoding options include magnetic stripe, contact chip, and contactless (RFID/NFC) chips — making it compatible with most access control and time attendance systems. Optional features include UV effect printing, double-layer overlay lamination, and Kineclipse® data scrambling technology that permanently destroys card data if the printer is tampered with.

Easy to use and maintain The Primacy 2 runs on Windows, Mac, and Linux via Evolis Premium Suite software, and also supports printing directly from smartphones and tablets. The LED or optional LCD touch screen with QR code assistance makes day-to-day operation straightforward for non-technical staff.
