Product Description
The Valberg Key Management System (KMS) from Finloyd provides secure storage and round-the-clock administration of keys at various facilities across Saudi Arabia — Riyadh, Jeddah, and Al Khobar — including organizations with increased security requirements. It’s a sophisticated electronic alternative to a traditional key safe, combining physical security with digital access management in a single unit.
The KMS key storage system allows you to restrict employee access rights. Each key or set of keys is attached to a metal keychain with a built-in RFID tag using a special steel cable-seal or ring-seal. All key fobs are not programmatically tied to a specific slot. After passing user identification, the system uses an intuitive light indication to show the keys available for that user. This greatly simplifies use of the system and makes it unnecessary to return the key fob to a predetermined slot.
The KMS has a sophisticated design that allows you to save more than three times as much space for wall mounting compared to traditional systems. Only authorized users with individually assigned access rights have access to the keys, and the time needed to retrieve a key is significantly reduced thanks to LED backlighting of the key storage cells — keeping daily key handoffs fast and organized for staff.
Keys are carried on intelligent key fobs with a built-in chip, a unique identifier, and a 3mm stainless steel clamp. The chip data is used for key check and identification each time a key is retrieved from storage or returned. Key fobs are available in different colors and can be ordered separately. For added security, key holder cases can be used and sealed in a standard way, available in standard (70mm) and elongated (up to 105mm) lengths depending on key size.
A big touch-sensitive display allows you to operate the key control system easily and quickly obtain information such as who took a key and when, or which key box a specific key is currently stored in. You can create and print reports of any kind using the included software. The system supports Wiegand-format card readers and an integrated biometric fingerprint scanner, enabling access with a card and/or fingerprint without needing to enter additional information.
The system can also interact with security systems installed at the facility — for example, if the electronic key storage system is integrated with a security alarm system, the security control system is fully automatically enabled or disabled when a key is returned or given out, with a confirmation displayed on the key control system’s screen.
The system has a modular structure — you can order a system of any size starting with just 10 keys and later expand it to several hundred keys. The system can be operated locally using the keypad, or remotely via a computer network, regardless of the number and size of keys stored. Unified software allows you to control, via network connection, both a simple system with a single unit and a system spanning multiple units across different parts of a building or even different geographic locations.
The system can be supplied with a solid metal door, a transparent polycarbonate door, or without a door at all. The control panel can be mounted at the lower part of the housing or on the right side. It’s available in two standard colors — dark silver and light gray (RAL 7038) — and custom-colored units can be manufactured on request.
