A user interface based on 12 tri-color LEDs facilitates the acquisition procedure by indicating which fingerprint(s) need to be acquired and providing quality feedback — eliminating the need for skilled operators and increasing overall workflow efficiency. The scanner can also be provided with a software-based Fake Finger Detection Solution to identify fake fingers.
